Question

So I just did a clean install of Windows, but now I don't have a Java plug-in. How do I get one?

So far I'm under the impression that I have to download a whole program, but I've never had to do that before.

So, how can I get Java?

Yeah, I seem to have figured everything out.

It seems that Java usedto be included with Windows, but due to legal trouble with Sun Microsystems, they can no longer distribute it.

That's because of good old Bill Gates... JAva was supposed to be a universal code that would be supported on any platform, but Bill want a Windows Proprietary version of the universal code included with windows... Sun wouldn't play
